This course is a postgraduate course for those who have already completed an 8 week Mindfulness course such as MBSR / MBCT. It teaches us ways to cultivate kindness and compassion for ourselves and others.
Compassion involves both sensitivity to our own and others’ suffering and the courage to deal with it. This course integrates the work of experts in the field such as Paul Gilbert, Kristin Neff, Christopher Germer, Rick Hanson and Tara Brach. Erick van den Brink and Frits Koster developed this eight step MBCL training programme which is supported by practical exercises and free audio downloads. Grounded in ancient wisdom and modern science, this course demonstrates how being compassionate shapes our minds and brains, and benefits our health and relationships.
All course participants will receive written materials, an audio download of 24 guided meditations, a certificate of attendance and 22 hours training. Cost is £200 supporting others / £180 standard / £100 unwaged
